Jessica “Jess” Peart resides in downtown Memphis with her husband, Corey and their five animals. Jessica is a lover of all animals and often states that she is “saving the world one animal at a time.” When she is not tending to her own pets, she is feeding the stray cats in the neighborhood and chasing after dogs that have escaped their owner’s homes.

Jess began working for Mid South Truckers Group in October 2012. Holding the title of Account Manager/Internet Strategist, Jess will tell you her favorite parts of the job are having the freedom to be creative and the ability to run with her ideas. She also enjoys managing all aspects of Mid South Truckers Group’s social media and speaking with the owner/operators.

Jess is enthusiastic about life and tries to live every day to the fullest extent. Since college, Jess has been passionate about non-profit organizations and volunteerism. She is currently a mentor for Youth Villages and serves on volunteer committees for Overton Park and the Memphis Farmers Market. She also runs with the kids of Youth Villages as part of the organization’s Y Fit program. Jess loves running and just completed her first half-marathon in April.

When asked about life, Jess quotes an excerpt from Jimmy Buffet’s A Salty Piece of Land, “There is no reverse on the road to life. You just keep moving forward, and every now and then you try to catch a little neutral”
